Sleeping giantess

Sleeping giantess

A giantess is sleeping in the stone

she has always been sleeping

There’s too much noise for her to wake up and move

for she is a creature of silence, a creature of music

When the air will be entirely still

she will rise in all her might

and the land hers

You have gone about your life

vaguely aware of the giantess presence

sometimes reminded of her face in the shape of a cloud

an insistent breath of wind, fiery eyes of a boy

you’ve gone about your life

waiting without knowing for the giantess to awaken

for once she will grow into you

you shall reach both the land and the heaven

and turn everything barren and dark to life
