Roses garden

I imagine you at dusk

Watering these bushes of flowers in your heart

Under which you like to sit

The fragrance of roses has filled the garden

The grass is green and dewy and soft

The singing of bird is hushing

Letting place to the silence of the night

You are sitting there alone

Breathing the night air with delight

Feeling in harmony with its silence

You are sitting there while your imagination is flying away

Carried by the perfume of roses and the silence of birds

Carried by the wind in the flutter of leaves

You are flying, hovering over the quietness of the plains

Seeing everything from above

I imagine you still sitting at your wooden table

And your heart finally at peace

Filling with love at my thought

You fall asleep and fly and fly in the night of your dreams

You fly and hover looking for me

You search me among the dark fields, among the forests and the lonely trees

You look for me over the seas, climbing on mountains peaks

But I am nowhere to be found, nowhere to be found

You are looking for me in the wrong places

I am here, sitting at the table next to you, where you have fallen asleep

I have been holding your hand and brushing your cheek all along

But you have been too busy thinking of me and imagining me

to open your eyes and see me, here, standing by you

in the roses garden of your heart
